Dont bother to spend the time to download, you get a couple of words on some subjects that are helpful, however app is aiming you to upgrade for almost 10 USD.

Good selection of vocabulary in many ways to use them.

This app is great if you are a female learning Thai. Men and women use different words to say the same phrase. I was testing out what I learned with a Thai friend who kept laughing at me. I didn’t understand until she told me the problem.

This app gives you the tools to quickly build your vocabulary with the most useful words. It provides not only the words but several sentences recorded by a native speaker to hear how the word sounds and is used in practice. Im only on level 2 but looking forward to learning all the words provided.

Needs more work. After learning some "basic expressions", in Thailand I was told that nobody ever uses good morning, afternoon etc, they just say hello. Why are those expressions even in the program? Plus numbers are in alphabetical order, so you start learning with an eight, not 1. Which is ridiculous.

I have all the Thai language apps, and after the Talking Thai dictionary (best dictionary ever), this is the best one out there. The language is formal, and Im not sure yet if they explain to new Thai learners about male/female language differences in the sentences (ka for girls, krap for boys), but since it seems to all be in female language, and Im a female, it doesnt matter to me. If youre concerned about this, because youre a man, just dont say "Dichan," say "Chan" or the more common "Pom" and dont use ka at the end of sentences, use krap. Thats it. It has fantastic vocabulary, and tons of it, as well as properly constructed sentences to practice the vocabulary with. Its easy to use and has the option to mark words to practice separately. Try it out for free, then two minutes later, buy it like I did.
